Pedro has been shown fearlessly in the Open Class since turning 2 years old and has already gained 30 excellent gradings.

Wins Best in Show in Queensland under Herr Lother Quoll SV (GMY) at the German Shepherd Dog Club of Queensland Golden Anniversary Show, August 2007.

Wins the Open Dog class and Challenge Dog ( no inter sex competition) in Canberra under               Herr Andreas Rudolph SV (GMY) A.C.T. German Shepherd Dog Association.

Best In Show under Mr Terry Jarvis at the German Shepherd Dog League N.S.W.

He has been shown in the Open Class at 4 Nationals so far finnishing 5th Open Dog at the 33rd National in Queensland Judge Herr Hans-Jurgen Beiger SV (Gmy) 7th Open Dog at the 34th National Victoria under Herr Erich Bosl SV (GMY) and 11th Open Dog at the 35th National N.S.W. under Herr R Brauch SV (GMY)   4th Open Dog 36th National South Australia under Herr Leonhard Schweikert SV (GMY) once again Pedro proves he is one of the best  males in Australia.

He has also gained EXCELLENT SELECT at the 2005,  2006 and 2007 MAIN BREED EXHIBITION. Confirming that he can still hold his own against the best dogs in the country.

Kennel Profile                      

We at Andacht Kennels have over 25 years of experience in breeding, showing and training German Shepherds. Our Kennel has been awarded the Bronze & Silver Medallion  "Breeders Achievement Awards" for excellence in the Hip Dysplasia Scheme, presented by the German Shepherd Dog Council of Australia inc.     

We are members of the Royal NSW Canine Council, the German Shepherd Dog League of NSW where we have held several committee positions including Training Co-coordinator of N.S.W.. We started the obedience side of the "Erskine Park Branch" of the GSDL were I held the position of Chief Instructor for the first 7 years. Also I have held the position of Chief Instructor at "Macarthur Dog Training Club" all breeds. We also formed the  Association of Pet Dog Trainers in Australia, and were founding Members and I was its first President.

Over the years we have had countless numbers of satisfied customers who have recounted many amazing tales of what their Canine Hero has done for their families.

The head, and driving force at "Andacht" is myself, Laurelle Reilly.   Growing up in a "Dog" family I have had lifetime association with dogs before in 1978 as an adult choosing my preferred breed the GSD.
